Yin Yoga is an internal and meditative approach to practice that helps to improve circulation, and joint mobility while cultivating awareness and inner stillness. In Yin Yoga you release into long holds of postures. Postures are held for 3-5 minutes. These holds softly open the connective tissues and apply gentle stress to ligaments and tendons, allowing them to fully release. Many of the postures focus on areas that encompass a joint (hips, sacrum, spine).
This class is not heated and 60 minutes in length.
Restorative yoga balances a fast-paced modern lifestyle and has an enormous capacity to heal physical and mental symptoms that are stress related. This class will consist of prop intense supported passive poses that are held for longer periods of time to help you cultivate deep relaxation and soothe the nervous system.
This is an all-levels, 75-minute class.
BAPTISTE POWER YOGA
Experience classic Baptiste Power Yoga in a 60 or 90-minute format. This class is built on the Journey Into Power sequence, a series of postures that flow from one to the next.
Vigorous and powerful. Strength is a pillar of this style. Vinyasa, the linking of one movement into the next, one breath into the next, is another pillar. We combine these two pillars along with heat, to give you one of the most dynamic, life-changing forms of physical and spiritual fitness.
This is an all-levels class. We heat our room to
approx. 85-90 deg. F
