BAPTISTE POWER VINYASA

Experience classic Baptiste Power Yoga in a 60 or 90-minute format. This class is built on the Journey Into Power sequence, a series of postures that flow from one to the next. 

Vigorous and powerful. Strength is a pillar of this style. Vinyasa, the linking of one movement into the next, one breath into the next, is another pillar. We combine these two pillars along with heat, to give you one of the most dynamic, life-changing forms of physical and spiritual fitness.

This is an all-levels class. We heat our room to approx. 85-90 deg. F

VINYASA FLOW YOGA

Flow is designed for beginning students and focuses on the basics. You'll be surrounded by both new and returning practitioners, you'll even find more advanced yogis in class who simply want to work on their basics. Yoga is a never-ending learning experience!

You think you're not flexible? No problem, yoga will help you with that. Do you have a weak upper body, not a problem either, yoga will help you build your strength, progressively at your own pace.

No idea what is tadasana or savasana, don’t worry! Our teachers will give you plenty of specific instruction so you’ll never feel lost. We're all in this together!

This class is not heated and 60 minutes in length.

RESTORATIVE YOGA

Restorative yoga balances a fast-paced modern lifestyle and has an enormous capacity to heal physical and mental symptoms that are stress related. This class will consist of prop intense supported passive poses that are held for longer periods of time to help you cultivate deep relaxation and soothe the nervous system.

 

This is an all-levels, 75-minute class.

YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga is an internal and meditative approach to practice that helps to improve circulation, and joint mobility while cultivating awareness and inner stillness. In Yin Yoga you release into long holds of postures. Postures are held for 3-5 minutes. These holds softly open the connective tissues and apply gentle stress to ligaments and tendons, allowing them to fully release. Many of the postures focus on areas that encompass a joint (hips, sacrum, spine).

 

This class is not heated and 60 minutes in length.

ASHTANGA YOGA HALF PRIMARY

Ashtanga Led Half Primary Series.

 

Students will be guided through half of the Ashtanga Primary Series according to the rhythm of the traditional Sanskrit count.

Led class reinforces the proper vinyasa system – when to inhale and when to exhale as we enter into and out of each posture. For both new and experienced students, led class is an important compliment to a regular Mysore practice. It’s an opportunity to ensure that each vinyasa is being learned and practiced correctly. Furthermore, surrendering to the teacher’s count and pacing, is an opportunity to increase both our internal and external strength, and our relationship with the traditional lineage.
